Christoph Nießer studied business administration at Steinbeis University (B.A. and M.Sc.). His studies focussed on management, entrepreneurship and strategy. Alongside his studies, he gained practical experience as Senior Sales Operation Coordination at DILO Armaturen Anlagen GmbH. Since March 2024, Christoph Nießer has been working as an assistant professor at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Controlling and Logistics under Prof Dr Andreas Otto.
Research interests
My research focuses on resilience in supply chains and organisations. I investigate how organisations can develop robust and adaptable structures to respond effectively to external shocks and uncertainties. My focus is on risk minimisation strategies, sustainable business models and the integration of digital solutions to strengthen the resilience of companies and global value chains.
